Marin Mazeres is a fourth year majoring in Human Biology and MCD Biology (B.S.) in 2018. He plans to apply to medical school.

He got involved with the estriol project in Fall 2016 and the mito project in Spring 2017. The estriol project focuses on an estrogen-like steroid, estriol, and its effect on Alzheimer’s Disease. The Mito project studies the effects of Alzheimer´s disease on the transcytosis of mitochondria in axons.

He is also involved with SHOP in the HIV peer testing program that allows students to get HIV tested for free on campus.

When he has free time, he likes to climb, scuba dive and Skype with his family back in Spain.
