Hana Chuang


Hana Chuang is a fourth year, Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology (B.S.) major at UCSC.  She is currently an undergraduate research assistant at the Lee Lab under the Insomniac Project.  This project studies the effects of genetically induced sleep deprivation on Alzheimer’s disease-like pathology in Drosophila.  Priorly, Hana had worked in the Copper and Cholesterol Project.
Outside of the Lee Lab, she works as a Stevenson Resident Assistant, runs Kids In Nutrition Santa Cruz, paints mugs at Petroglyph, and enjoys traveling to new places.
