Sarah Deleon


Sarah Deleon is an undergraduate student at UCSC, pursuing a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  She is currently involved in Dr. Jeremy Lee’s Alzheimer’s Disease research lab, working on the ‘Insomniac Project’, which investigates the probable correlation between the insomniac mutation and the toxic effects of amyloid-Beta.  Sarah is a participant in the MARC program and plans to pursue a graduate degree in Immunology or Metabolism research. Her interests and hobbies include running, hiking, Brazilian jujitsu, baking, binge watching shows on Netflix and eventually learn to surf.
