I am interested in how Aß oligomers and Tau neurofibrillary tangles work together to compromise microtubule structural integrity and degrade mitochondrial axonal transport. Possibly leading to mitochondria produced oxidative stress in the neuron, specifically the axon hillock, axon length, and presynaptic inner axon plate.
