I am a senior at UC Santa Cruz, majoring in Neuroscience. I have two projects I focus on in Dr. Jeremy Lee’s Alzheimer’s Disease research lab. The first is the ‘A-eta-alpha project’, which is investigating the neurotoxicity of the Aη-α peptide. The second is the ‘estriol’ project, which aims to determine whether the hormone estriol has effects on AD pathology. Some of my aspirations are to continue lab research and eventually teach. When I’m not studying, working or sleeping, I enjoy baking, playing the violin, and being outside: I love to hike, surf and snowboard.
